This post explains the Privacy Policy section: 8. Data Retention. It is based on TSF’s published privacy policy and is intended to make our data practices easier for donors, volunteers, partners and visitors to understand.

| Donation & 80G receipt records | As required under the Income Tax Act and Companies Act provisions (currently 8 years from end of relevant financial year, or longer if law requires) |
| Cross-border/partner-routed contribution records | As required under the relevant partner's regulatory framework, and as needed for TSF's own programme reporting |
| Volunteer/Intern applications | Up to 2 years from last contact, unless engaged, then per HR record norms |
| Newsletter subscriber data | Until unsubscribed or 3 years of inactivity, whichever is earlier |
| Website analytics data | As per Google Analytics/GTM default retention settings, configurable by TSF |
| Contact form/general enquiries | Up to 1 year unless related to an ongoing partnership or grievance |
